The 12 O’Clock Hills Baseball Cap Collection
The 12 O’Clock Hills Baseball Cap Collection
Located in the Slieve Bearnagh Mountain Range in East Clare, Ireland, the 12 O’Clock Hills comprise of Knockanuarha at 309m and its twin peak which is about 10 metres lower. Their name is thought to derive from the tradition of telling the time based on the position of the sun against the hills.
Especially commissioned by the 12 O’Clock Hills Project from a Co. Clare Irish Designer and Maker to celebrate the achievements of the Project to date in developing this region into a popular destination for walkers and hikers, this limited collection of unique baseball caps hats have been designed by skilled Artisan Ailish McElroy at her design studio in Bodyke, East Clare, Ireland.
These caps are designed for heading out on the trails and will take a beating from the elements while keeping your head cool, comfortable, and protected from the sun. This often overlooked piece of gear is as important as the boots on your feet and the pack on your back. Comfortable and lightweight enough to be worn all day, these caps pack down to the bill so you can stuff it in your day pack and bust it out when you need it.
Although it’s a one size fits all deal, there’s an adjustable strap at the back to tailor it to your liking for a snug and secure fit making them ideal for men, women and children.
The vintage 100% soft washed cotton provides a soft comfortable feel despite its durability. These caps feature an embroidered 12 O’Clock Hills logo and are available in 7 attractive colors: Khaki Green, Granite Grey, Charcoal, Purple, Dark Red and Coral Orange.
Good air circulation, a solid bill, and proper fit are the main factors to consider when choosing the right hiking hat and The 12 O’Clock Hills baseball cap checks all those boxes so why not take the leap and your head will thank you. Each purchase contributes to the development of the 12 O’Clock Hills Project and make beautiful gifts at any time of the year.
